Bill Oldenburg
Bill is Executive Vice President of Operations for Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream, which manufactures and distributes a full spectrum of premium and superpremium ice cream and frozen snacks, including the Dreyer’s, Edy’s, Häagen-Dazs and Nestlé ice cream brands. Bill joined Dreyer’s in 1986 as Vice President of Operations, responsible for manufacturing, engineering, warehousing, and quality for all of Dreyer’s ice cream and frozen dessert products. He was named Executive Vice President of Operations in 2003.
Prior to joining Dreyer’s, Bill was Vice President and General Manager of the Youthwear and Womenswear divisions of Levi Strauss & Co. He is a former Chairman and SecretaryTreasurer of the International Dairy Foods Association and former Chairman of the International Ice Cream Association, where he has also served as Vice Chairman and Treasurer.
Bill graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Stanford University. He is on the board of directors of the Dairy Institute of California and Junior Achievement of the Bay Area, previously having served as Chairman for both organizations. He is also a director of Momentx and Bargreen-Ellingson, and is a member of the Commonwealth Club. |
